How to become
There are many routes into becoming a Registered Manager; these include university, apprenticeships or directly applying. You will normally need 5 GCSEs and will normally need either A-Levels, BTEC or T-Levels depending on your preference in learning.
You can pursue a degree course in relevant subjects like social care management or health. A degree in nursing or other medical courses is also relevant. You can also go down a different route and do the NQV Level 5 Diploma in leadership management in adult care. When you have the necessary qualifications like a degree or the NVQ Level 5, you can apply for registration to become a Registered Manager. The registration process involves interviews, assessment of your education and background checks.
